Enjoying a Snow Day!

Oh, the joy of living in Colorado!

For the last few weeks we've had snow at least once a week. Nothing nearly as major as as our huge snowstorms in December '06, - thank goodness - but flakes enough for the kids to get out and play in. Since our house faces north the snow sticks around in our yard a bit longer than some of our neighbors. I guess it's a good thing when you have little munchkins dying to do a little sledding! Our front yard slopes just enough to give them a good ride. The boys were so excited and loved dragging the sled back up for their next ride. We even had a few minature snow angels out there too - until the next snow fall a few days later covered them all up. No - I don't have any pity for those of you "freezing" in the low 60's. Did I mention we are getting a heat wave the next few days - we might get up to 50! It won't last long though. We will be back down to the teens soon enough, I'm sure. As much as the kids love the snow, Mom's ready for a little bit of Spring!
