Ok, so it's about time I got on the ball and answered my tags:

Answer:

She would look to it every day and try to guess which star the boy was following in search of his treasure. She would have to send her kisses on the wind, hoping that the wind would touch the boys face, and would tell him that she was alive. That she was waiting for him, a woman awaiting a courageous man in search of his treasure.

I'm not done with this book yet, but it is very interesting. I've got a lot of pages marked for inspirational quotes I want to write down and remember. Very interesting concept.
